TAKS Day#1 Thursday

Every Thursdays and Fridays are TAKS DAYS

  • REMEMBER THIS IS NOT A TAKS PREP CLASS. WE HELP YOU BECAUSE WE NEED YOU TO GRADUATE. YOU CAN NOT GRADUATE IF YOU CAN NOT PASS TAKS TEST. MOST OF THE EXIT LEVEL TAKS OBJECTIVES ARE FROM MIDDLE SCHOOL, 9th GRADE, AND 10th GRADE.
  • Total 10 Objectives
  • Objective # 1
    • The student will describe functional relationships in a number of ways.
  • Objective # 2
    • The student will demonstrate an understanding of the properties and attributes of functions.
  • Each Objective Test is about 10 to 20 questions
  • It is an INDIVIDUAL practice test/ Single sitting chart/NOT a group work
  • Need to pass 80% Level
    • Below 80% takes the same objective again
    • 80% and Above 80% takes next objective
  • Below 70% DOES NOT count as a grade
  • Above 70% will be count as a grade if needed 
  • Based on the performance TUTORING SESSION(s) will be assigned.  
  • For the TAKS Days: Math Chart and Calculators must be used.

  1. Mr.B I had heard somewhere that there trying to get brid of the taks test,and that by this time next year students will just be taking a E.O.C (an end of course exam.)-samantha batt 9th period
